♦Ben is an adorable 8-month old male puppy who made his way all the way from Puerto Rico where he and his sister faced uncertain death. Ben’s sister was quickly adopted and now its his turn. Volunteers believe he is a short hair Shepard mix. Ben has a lot of energy being a puppy and yet is very friendly with other dogs, cats and children and house broken. He has an adorable face with one down and one up ear and just looking at him will make your heart melt. Ben is up to date on all routing shots and waiting for his perfect home of his own. With the amount of energy that Benn appears to have, volunteers feel best with slightly older children due to his size. Ben is currently at Save The Animals Rescue Team II (START II) rescue shelter located in Englewood, NJ.
