This amazing and handsome love bug of a puppy made his way to Save The Animals Rescue Team II (START II) from Texas in search of his forever home. Approximately 9 months old, Hugo came to the animal rescue group in April. The group welcomed him into its care, and we are thrilled to have him until the perfect home is found. Hugo appears to be a black Labrador mix and is one of the shelter favorites. Hugo has all the right assets anyone can ever ask for. What more can be said about Hugo? He is extremely friendly and affectionate. When you say “Hello” to him, he will roll on his back for belly rubs. He adores most dogs and can also be on his own, but not with cats. Volunteers ask that he has a fenced in yard so he can play to get his puppy energy out. Hugo will make you laugh at the silly things he does and brighten any grey day. This puppy is a true and rare treasure. Hugo loves people and children of all ages and attention. However, because Hugo is active at this stage in life, volunteers feel slightly older children may be best. Hugo is house-trained and up to date on all routine shots.
