♦Sterling is a handsome, gray male cat, approximately a year old. He was brought to Save The Animals Rescue Team II (START II) in February, to the Wayne PetSmart adoption location. Sterling was pulled from a local high-kill facility, where he was placed onto the euthanasia list through no fault of his own. Sterling is an amazing cat, with just about all of the right attributes. He loves to play and is fond of other cats, so if you have a cat and are thinking of getting another, Sterling is for you. He is a complete joy and is extremely sweet. Volunteers have not tested him with dogs, so a home without a dog would most likely be best. Sterling craves being petted. In fact, he loves attention, but something in his past left him with an aversion to being picked up. He would therefore do best with slightly older children. Perhaps in time and with love and patience, he will feel secure enough to be picked up. Sterling is up to date on all routine shots, neutered and FIV negative and litter box trained.
